I keep my supplies sorted by theme and by color, so I just grabbed my Girl Stuff and some pink embellishments, and was ready to go! Some of the ribbons on the scallops are actually fabric cut into strips (one my my latest crazes).
I also really like using flowers - they add so much dimension, and are easy to use. The flowers on page 5 are 3d stickers - see? easy!
Circle stickers were fun to add and fit into the scallops quite well (pages 2, 3, and 8)
I used paint on page 6 for a background for the quote on page 7... let me use the different words on page 6 without messing up the quote on page 7.
The back cover has a plastic overlay (Making Memories) to cover the photo and add a little to the pic.

Look, we made the NEWS
I had stopped in the store and over at Jackie's tonight and they told me the news crew had been at the store earlier. How exciting!
http://www.wgem.com/News/index.php?ID=21963
There is a link to the newscast too.
Saw two of my albums during it, but was bummed they weren't on there for longer. My daughter was thrilled to see her picture on TV though.
Ok, saw this again on the 10pm news... got to see one of my albums for a little bit longer... wish I had a VCR player hooked up to my TV!

This was a really fun album to work with. Cutting out the inside of the W was a little difficult, but only because I have a heavy hand with the craft knife, so I used scissors. Most of the papers were from KI Memories. Love the paper on the W - it is shimmery.
I used the Crop-O-Dile to punch the holes to hang the charms from and to tie the ribbon through. Otherwise I used various stickers and rubons for accents.
Published!
The first book is being done by Clear Scraps 0 it will have the dog bone and the christmas tree albums.
The second book is going to be published in a Pine Cone Press book.
This is so exciting! Especially after the fiasco from Rusty Pickle.

Clear Scraps album
This album was a lot of fun. It showcases the cats we have had over the last several years. Letters were covered and cut out - I used my Cutterbee scissors as I have a rather heavy hand with a craft knife and kept cutting into the acrylic. I like to use double sided papers for the acrylic albums, so I don't have to work so hard LOL. Plus I think it adds dimension. For adhesive, I mainly use the xyron for those pieces - since the adhesive totally covers the paper, it is not visible. If I don't have any, I will use glue dots, because those are fairly easy to hide behind something else. The white paw print "ribbon" is actually fabric that I found and cut into strips - it is non-specific enough that I could use it on both the cat and dog albums. I'll post the dog album tomorrow.
